This year, i�ve discovered the wonders of using wood planks in my grilling. just as it sounds, wooden grilling planks are single-use pieces of wood (typically about ~5� x ~11� in size) that go on your grill topped with food.. I love using wood planks for grilling fish, cheese, mashed potatoes and even preparing dessert on the grill. i was not given any of those options for this challenge. instead, i was told to plank grill some steak and prepare is as an appetizer.. After plank grilling. remove the plank from the grill and place into a container of water. reuse grilling planks about two or three times. if there's wood left, you can use the plank. re-soaking for another use is optional. rinse used planks with soap and water and let dry. store plank in a dry, clean place. plank recipes that aren't salmon.
